A lacrosse manufacturing plant and civic campus, home to the Makwa and Okwari brands — built entirely by and for the Nation that owns it.
Hockey Equipment Manufacturing
A Nation-owned hockey equipment and apparel manufacturing line, built alongside our lacrosse manufacturing to bring both sports' supply chains in-house.
Multi-Use Sport & Entertainment Centre
A true multiplex bringing ball hockey, lacrosse, and soccer together under one roof, anchored by a four-tenant arena model that includes a Nation-owned women's hockey franchise.
Aquatic & Wellness Centres
Pools, therapy and recovery spaces, and wellness programming built into the campus model, extending each site beyond sport and into everyday community health.
Mixed-Income Housing & Mass Timber Campus
Mixed-income Indigenous housing as the lead priority, with a mass timber production plant advancing in parallel.

Mass timber homes built for single-family construction or deployed at scale as a mixed community — a run of roughly 20 homes in varied sizes, connected by cobblestone roads, every roof carrying solar, every home wired for EV charging. Built with the same sustainable, net-zero-ready methods as every other project in the network.
Casino & Entertainment
A Nation-owned gaming and entertainment venue integrated with hospitality and dining, built to diversify revenue and keep entertainment spending inside the community.
Sustainable Wilderness Lodge Program
A full, executable plan for building net-zero wilderness lodges: off-grid power systems, low-impact site design, and women-led operations — bringing high-end, sustainable hospitality revenue to remote Nation-owned land while protecting the land itself.
Mass Timber Seafood Processing Facility
An early-stage concept for a 100% Indigenous-owned mass timber seafood processing facility.
Mass Timber Production Plants
A twin-structure mass timber production model — a showcase office building alongside a high-bay production hall with automated storage and linear flow production — built to supply the campus network's construction needs and beyond.
AI-Automated Sawmill
An AI-automated sawmill supplying custom-milled lumber directly into our mass timber plants, tightening the supply chain from raw material to finished structure.
Innovation Hub
A technology and enterprise incubator embedded in the campus network, giving Indigenous entrepreneurs and startups shared workspace, mentorship, and direct access to AkweOS tools.
The NorthStar Project.

For Nations with larger acreage available, the NorthStar Project is our model for taking land straight into the Addition to Reserve (ATR) process and building an entire self-sufficient community on it — not a single building, but a whole community designed to stand on its own.
Straight to ATR
Larger parcels are moved immediately into the Addition to Reserve process, securing the land base before the community plan is built out.
Mass Timber, Net-Zero
Every structure in the community is built in mass timber and designed net-zero from the start — energy, water, and waste systems built to run independently.

Our vision goes beyond building the arena. Nations don't just own the campus — they have the opportunity to own the team that plays in it. HOK Sports Management operates every team on a Nation's behalf, with AkweOS running the business side end-to-end: scheduling, ticketing, sponsorship, and reporting. The long-term vision is a national league of Nation-owned teams, competing against one another across the country under a single, Indigenous-owned banner.
Team Ownership
Nations acquire and own their franchises outright, in hockey and lacrosse, with HOK Sports Management operating on their behalf.
AkweOS-Managed
Every team runs on AkweOS — scheduling, ticketing, sponsorship, and reporting handled by the same system behind the campus itself.
